Planning Commission

The Planning Commission helps plan for Tappahannock’s future growth and development. It reviews proposals for new development, changes to zoning, and updates to the town’s long-term plans, then makes recommendations to the Town Council. The Commission’s goal is to ensure that growth is thoughtful, well-organized, and in line with the community’s vision.
