Maintenance Worker II
The Town of Tappahannock Public Works Department is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Maintenance Worker II. Under general supervision of the Public Works Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, performs routine skilled work with medium and heavy equipment in the in the maintenance and/or repair of alleys, drainage ditches, water and sewer lines, construction tasks, and cutting grass. Responds to unscheduled emergency work due to storms, snow, or utility related emergencies. This is not a supervisory position.. Assistant Facilities Manager
The Town of Tappahannock Facilities Maintenance Department is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Assistant Facilities Manager. This opportunity requires extensive knowledge in operations/maintenance of equipment, sanitary sewer systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems along with building and facilities repair. Applicants must possess at a minimum a Journeyman’s Electrical License in the Commonwealth of Virginia upon date of hire.
