Freedom of Information Act

The Town of Tappahannock is committed to transparency and open government. As part of this commitment, we adhere to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which provides access to public records held by state and local government entities.

FOIA requests may be submitted to the Town of Tappahannock for review. While most public records are accessible under FOIA, certain records may be exempt from disclosure due to privacy laws, security concerns, or other legal protections.
