The Town of Tappahannock would like to provide residents with a friendly reminder regarding upcoming utility bills, which are scheduled to be mailed at the end of next week.

 

As part of the Town’s adopted budget for the current fiscal year, utility rates were adjusted by 9%. This adjustment was approved by Town Council as part of a three-year plan for utility rates, with the current fiscal year marking the final year of that plan. Residents will see this adjustment reflected in their upcoming bills.

 

We understand that changes in household expenses are important, and we wanted to make sure residents were aware of the adjustment before receiving their next bill.
