The Town of Tappahannock will conduct street sweeping on Tuesday, August 25, and Wednesday, August 26. This routine maintenance helps keep Town streets clean while reducing debris that can enter and obstruct storm drains.

Street Sweeping Schedule

Tuesday, August 25 | 10 AM – 4 PM

Street sweeping will take place on:

• Church Lane
• Tappahannock Boulevard
• Queen Street

Wednesday, August 26 | 7 AM –3 PM

Street sweeping will take place on:

• Marsh Street
• Duke Street
• Virginia Street
• Prince Street
• Water Lane
• Wright Street
• Charlotte Street
• Earl Street

Residents and businesses along the scheduled streets are asked to move vehicles from the roadway when possible during the designated sweeping times. Keeping the roadway clear will allow crews to sweep more thoroughly and efficiently.
