The Tappahannock Police Department is committed to building and maintaining trust within the community through transparency, accountability, and professionalism. Every citizen has the right to be heard, treated with respect, and assured that their concerns are taken seriously. We view citizen feedback, whether it is in the form of commendations or complaints, as essential to our continued growth and service excellence. Your input helps us uphold the highest standards of integrity, strengthen public trust, and ensure that all interactions with our department reflect our commitment to fairness, justice, and professionalism. Complaints may be filed in person, online, by telephone, or by a third party. Paper forms are available at the police department. If you wish to file a complaint electronically, complete the form below, and it will be sent directly to the Police Chief for review. Upon receipt, your complaint will be assigned and either investigated by the Chief of Police or his designee.
