Notice is hereby given that the Tappahannock Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. at the Tappahannock Municipal Building, 915 Church Lane, Tappahannock, Virginia, on the proposed budget as follows:
Public Hearing on the Proposed Use of General Funds, Water and Sewer Funds and Cemetery Funds, Pursuant to Section 15.2-2506 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended.
This budget summary is prepared annually in conformity with Section 15.2-2506 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, for the purpose of public information and fiscal planning only. The Tappahannock Town Council is not obligated to appropriate or commit funds and no funds may be disbursed without such appropriation. Details of the proposed expenditures are available at the Town Managerís Office, 915 Church Lane, Tappahannock, Virginia.
Interested citizens may appear at the hearing to express their interests and state their views regarding the budget.
